Colorado Summer Elopement

Marissa and Janiel’s Colorado summer elopement was so beautiful that we needed two days to fit everything in. These two nature-loving cuties kicked off their adventure with a 4×4 ride to Emerald Lake that was bumpier than a teenager’s first attempt at parallel parking.

Mother Nature, clearly feeling festive, decided to throw some hail their way. But our dynamic duo laughed in the face of hail (not literally, that would hurt) and turned it into the coolest story to tell at future dinner parties. Day two? Oh, it was a doozy! The morning started with enough rain to make Noah nervous, but just as the sun peeked over the mountains, the rain clouds turned into fog.

Suddenly, Marissa and Janiel found themselves in a misty, wildflower wonderland. They capped off their Colorado summer wedding with waterfall vows. Want to know how you can trade stuffy venues for mountain views and create your own flower-powered elopement? Check out the full blog post, where I spill all the tea on planning the wildflower wedding of your dreams. Trust me, it’s more exciting than finding the perfect hiking socks – and that’s saying something!
