Garden of the Gods Couples Photos | Halley & Charlie

Couple kisses in Garden of the Gods, Colorado. They are blurry and the rocks are in focus behind them.

The opportunity to take couples photos in Garden of the Gods? YES, please. My husband Jeff and I took a quick trip to Colorado Springs in August where I had the opportunity to do a Garden of the Gods couples photoshoot for Halley & Charlie.

Halley had just moved from Florida, and taking couples photos in Garden of the Gods for her and Charlie was the perfect way to celebrate her move to Colorado and this exciting chapter of their lives!

Romantic black and white image of couple in front of mountains. They are both touching each other's face.

Jeff and I spent the entire day hiking and scouting as much of the park as possible. It was our first time at Garden of the Gods in COLORADO, and we loved it so much. Back home, we live an hour and a half from Garden of the Gods in ILLINOIS. Crazy that there’s two of them!

Garden of the Gods is an amazing place for couples photos, engagement sessions, and elopements because they do not require photography permits. And entry to the park is free. What??? Yep, you read that right. FREE. And, just so you know, I’m more than happy to go back there and do your photos too. Just say when!

There are so many photo opportunities in Garden of the Gods! We wandered through lush meadows, hiked to secluded viewpoints, walked the winding trails, and watched the sun set at the iconic Siamese Twins rock formation. The round trip Siamese Twins hike is less than 1 mile. When you peek out through the window in the center of the rocks, you’re looking at Pikes Peak (which we drove up the day before, but that’s a different story for a different day).

Are you ready to have an amazing adventure and your own Garden of the Gods couples photos? I would love to climb around on rocks with you, and help create photos of you and your partner that you’ll cherish for years to come!
