Mady & Ezekiel’s Hiking Elopement In Tennessee | Cedars of Lebanon State Park

A bride sits on a rock with her head in her hands, talking to the groom, who kneels in front of her, during their hiking elopement.

Cedars of Lebanon State Park quickly rose to the top of my list for best places to have a hiking elopement in Tennessee after photographing Mady and Ezekiel’s wedding there. Just a short drive from Nashville, this park offers peace, tranquility, and so many amazing places to take gorgeous wedding photos. See for yourself!

Their elopement day started with a first look behind the Nature Center and a few portraits in front of the Cedar Forrest Lodge, one of the affordable wedding venues available in Cedars of Lebanon State Park.

After their first look, they went exploring around the garden area behind the Cedars of Lebanon Nature Center. The sunlight filtered through the trees, creating a magical atmosphere. We stopped along the way to take photos, and Mady and Ezekiel were simply glowing with happiness.

They went hiking through the park’s lush cedars on the Hidden Springs Trail.

After the hike, we headed to a cozy little picnic area where we were lucky enough to have the place completely to ourselves! Mady & Ezekiel stood under a canopy of trees and exchanged private vows with nothing but the sounds of nature surrounding them.

After their vows, Mady & Ezekiel celebrated with a caramel apple cake while laying on their picnic blanket enjoying each other’s company.

Having a hiking elopement in Tennessee gave Mady & Ezekiel the perfect “just us” wedding experience that they deserved. Their entire wedding day was completely about them and their love for each other.
