HERE ARE 10 FUN ENGAGEMENT PHOTO IDEAS TO GET YOU STARTED
If you’ve been wondering, how do you take non cheesy engagement photos? The answer is to make it a FUN experience! Turn your engagement photoshoot into a date night. Do something that you both love to do. Do something that you’ve never done before. Check off an item from your couple’s bucket list. Don’t have one of those? Make one together, and turn making one into your engagement session! Ooh, that’s a good one. And that’s a freebie, because I already thought of the 10 fun engagement photos that I was going to list below. Be playful with each other and just be yourselves!
One. Check out a winery. Most wineries have wine tastings, live music events, cozy little places tucked around their property to sip your wine, and lots of great places to take photos.
Two. Visit a Botanical Garden and walk hand in hand on the beautiful paths through the flowers. Stop to smell the roses, and maybe even pack a picnic.
Three. Visit a brewery and share a flight of beer. Or two. I looove getting to try all of the different options that breweries have to offer. So much in fact that I have the Untappd app so that I can check in all the different flavors. If you know what I’m talking about, this might be the one for you!
Four. Grab a pizza and drinks and hang out on a rooftop while the sun sets. Bring a speaker and dance.
Five. Are you two nature lovers? Hike a trail to a beautiful location. As an avid hiker, I’m more than happy to recommend some great options for you, as well as tag along on your hike while capturing the cutest engagement photos.
Six. Remember how much fun the carnival was when you were kids? We spend entirely too much time adulting these days. Go to the county fair, ride some rides and eat cotton candy to your heart’s content! More fair inspo here.

Eight. Have a painting session where you create a fun piece of art together to hang in your home and use as a save the date announcement. An activity like this makes it pretty easy to relax in front of the camera!
Nine. Movie buffs? Get inspired from a movie, and recreate your own scene! A super fun one is Masterminds!
