I was lucky enough to meet AJ & Lauren for the first time last year when I did Christmas photos for their family. I was beyond thrilled when they asked me to capture their wedding at Burdoc Farms! The prospect of documenting their Kentucky love story ignited a spark of creative excitement and joy for this photographer.

AJ, the epitome of suave sophistication, owned the day in a plum-colored suit, perfectly complementing the lush surroundings. Meanwhile, Lauren was an ethereal vision in her Olivia Zavozina lace gown—a masterpiece fusing elegance with bohemian flair. Together, they were a sartorial match made in heaven.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the party moved to the fairy-lit tobacco barn—a magical haven that transported everyone to a world of whimsy. Amidst laughter and clinking glasses, the newlyweds danced into a night filled with unforgettable moments.

Capturing the Magic: Sunset Photos on High Ground

Sunset photoshoots are a must on a wedding day! Lauren and AJ were bathed in the warm hues of a Kentucky sunset on one of Christian County’s highest points, and it was nothing short of breathtaking. Picture-perfect moments that made this photographer’s heart so happy to get to capture.

Furry Friends and Family Love: Including Everyone

Lauren and AJ know the importance of family, including their four-legged friend. They’re beloved fun-baby couldn’t be a part of the ceremony, so they went the extra mile and printed a likeness of their dog’s Cora on the cups. A paw-ty of the century, indeed!

If there’s one thing Lauren and AJ wanted for their big day, it was to enjoy their day and have an absolute blast! Memorable dances, heartfelt toasts, songs sang by their loved ones, and an infectious energy created a joyous wedding atmosphere.
